CIO/IT Director

We are looking for a CIO/IT Director who will also handle most if not ALL IT Director responsibilities.  The CIO should be familiar with the Banking Industry and be hands on in all cases. 

The CIO responsible include: Direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives and maintain adherence to recommended guidelines for banking information technology as generally described by the FFIEC Information Systems Examination Handbook. 

The IT Responsibilities include: Oversees database management, telecommunications, IS training and microcomputer technology. Establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures. Ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs. Management of all regulatory exams and compliance regarding IT Systems and procedural requirements.Prepares the departmental budgets. Supports planning and implementing security or disaster recovery actions.Manages disaster recovery functions for information systems. Establishes internal control safeguards for data and physical security. Develops security auditing procedures. Arranges and administers security to restrict unauthorized use of data systems and databases. Coordinates any security investigations and executes preventive measures. Organizes off-site storage necessary for recovery processes, and oversees development of recovery procedures.Oversees and/or installs, configures, and maintains LAN server and workstations. Manages performance and maintains security of LANS. Works with multiple hardware and software platforms at all levels.Manages hardware and software platforms. Assesses network performance. Resolves network problems and offers technical assistance to users.Develop and maintain a risk management.Supports development of technical standards and application uses. Implements short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Serve on IT Steering Committees (ITSC) and direct all IT Oversight Committees (ITOC) committee meetings.
