CO BENEFITS REL MGR I - LOS ANGELES

Union Bank of California Responsibilities Include:  Initiate, negotiate and sell Company Benefits Banking Program to prospects and existing customers.  Encourage and follow up on all branch referrals.  Call on prospects to develop new business relationships.  Position is assigned both Retail and Commercial markets. Research and implement strategies, tactics and campaigns to increase and capitalize on growing the Company Benefits Program.  Coordinate efforts to promote the sale of additional Bank products/services to Company  Benefit customers.  Ensure the Company Benefits Program supports increased growth, profitability and retention of customers.  Identify needed training and assist in the improvement of sales development efforts.  Coach and mentor banking office financial services group in assigned geographic area. Coordinate CBB selling efforts with those assigned areas and cover the prospects within all of the markets defined by the assigned branches and/or Commercial markets.  Assist Region Manager, Region Sales Managers and Branch Managers within assigned market to develop CBB strategies to achieve their consumer DDA and relationship goals.Position Requires:  A complete understanding of Union Bank of California’s products and services for both retail and small business.  Sales knowledge of all UBOC consumer and business products.  Understands different bank products and how they work.  Requires the ability t recognize customer needs and match them to bank products.  Proven ability to present effectively to both large and small groups and close a sale. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management within UBOC as well as within the business community.  Strong business development skills, operations, product, and marketing experience.
