COLLECTOR

Position Profile: Collects payments on delinquent consumer loan accounts.
Key duties include the following:Contact assigned customers to collect delinquent loan paymentsNegotiate payments schedules within authorized limitsMaintain tickler system on delinquent accounts to ensure proper follow-upNotify dealer or guarantor of delinquent status on full recourse loansConduct 'skip tracing' on delinquent customersArrange for property repossessions using bonded, licensed contractorsReceive and initiate appropriate action on bankruptcy noticesDevelop network of credit contacts as resource in collecting delinquent accountsResearch customer payments and account history in Bank systemsProvide customer service to walk-in customersPrepare accounts for charge-off as appropriate

Qualifications:Knowledge of Bank collection procedures and systemsUnderstanding of bankruptcy lawsOral and written communication skillsPC Skills2-3 years overall collection experience
