CRM Systems Administrator - 42439

BMO Capital Markets, the U.S. based investment and corporate banking practice of BMO Financial Group (NYSE: BMO), is an integrated full-service mid-market investment bank. We offer corporate and institutional clients a complete range of financial services, including financial advisory and capital raising services, mergers and acquisitions and equity research, sales and trading services. Key Accountabilities
• Administers the non-user portions of the CRM applications so that the applications reflect an appropriate framework and business rules.
• Ensures that data not normally entered by users is quickly made available to the user community.
• Provides informal support and orientation of users, particularly new users, to improve the ability of users to leverage use of the applications for business purposes.
• Performs User Acceptance testing and quality control exercises to ensure that high data quality and system performance are maintained.
• Passes along additional user requirements to business analysts enabling value and usage of applications to be enhanced.

Accountabilities
A. Administers the non-user portions of the CRM application(s).  Maintains user ids including applying appropriate visibility rules. Adds companies and other data as required where the addition has been restricted to the system administrator.
B. Maintains the structure on which the data is based:  maintains departments and other value lists/tables that are presented to the user for selection.
C. Manages an inbox of data requests and help issues.  Processes data requests, answers questions regarding the system, redirects issues arising from the inbox as appropriate.
D. Orients new users as needed by desk-side visit using a prepared outline.
E. Participates in User Acceptance testing.  Records errors in a ticketing system.  Performs quality control exercises as directed by the team.
F. Elicits business requirements and communicates them to the business analysts and full CRM team.  Records requested enhancements in the ticketing system.
G. Participates in the creation of regular and ad hoc management reports as appropriate.
H. Participates in the user working groups as appropriate

 

Knowledge
a) University degree/college diploma or equivalent, with an IT emphasis
b) 1-5 years of general business experience

Skills:
a) Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
b) Strong attention to detail, a “passion” for data
c) Knowledge of the Siebel or other CRM application desirable
d) Finance industry knowledge desirable (comparable to the Canadian CSC)
e) Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Access
f) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
g) Ability to translate a business requirement into a specific technical solution
