NATURE OF THE JOB
Basic Purpose & Objective of the Position:
As a member of the Merchant Services team, the Data Entry Specialist will support the overall operation of the call center, assist in the organization business sensitive data, manage daily reporting logs, interface with management executives, and manage and execute special projects.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of reports and statistics that are used daily to make sound business decisions. This individual will report to the Call Center Operations Manager and will work closely with Inside Sales Agents and Floor Supervisors to ensure accurate reporting.
The Coordinator will oversee comprehensive reporting and analysis tools including performance metrics and productivity reports, offer recommendations, and help implement new process that will streamline process and maximize efficiency.
This position requires an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, who is able to work independently and with minimal direction, with a proven track record as a proactive, motivated and results-oriented employee. Proficient Microsoft Office Skills are required.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Enter appointments set by Inside Sales Associates (ISA's)Interface with ISA's and hand out copies of appointments after entering themScan and email and/or fax bankcard statements to outside sales representativesDevelop and enter reporting in a Microsoft Excel DatabaseInterface with our proprietary database 'Merchant Link'Work with management team to design, develop, deliver and measure customized performance improvement initiatives
Maintain records, calendars and employee progress reports
Provide administrative support to management
Coordinate and organize merchandise and supply ordering and distribution
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Education
Some college coursework required
Other Training/Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Strong verbal & written communication skillsExcellent computer and phone skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
