Channel Release Specialist (Jr. Project Mgr.) Job Description: The Channel / Release Specialist is the primary business contact responsible for managing the Fidelity Decision Solutions channel program and executing against the overall delivery strategy. This includes coordination and management of existing Web services, establishing new Web services, and planning and coordination of annual releases. In addition, this position will be responsible for leading and coordinating Alliance Partner and direct customer integration initiatives and will be the primary contact on day to day issues impacting our Channel Program. Responsibilities include: • Execute the overall FIS delivery strategy and coordinate project • Lead and coordinate Alliance Partner and Customer integration efforts • Define and communicate the Channel Release process • Coordinate and lead channel release activities • Coordinate all build, fix, and maintain activities impacting technical delivery channels • Track and establish delivery trends to help identify new approaches and future channel enhancements • Prepare and maintain monthly reports associated with the Channel Program • Drive awareness of channel needs and requirements by providing feedback and guidance to management regarding factors and issues impacting strategic delivery • Work with cross-organizational teams to evaluate and develop delivery channel improvement strategies • Provide support and training to organizations including Marketing, Sales, Product Management, IT and Operations Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required • 3-5 years of project management and/or business analyst experience • Successful track record of managing projects and project teams • Proven ability to execute against business strategies • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Working knowledge / understanding of Web Services and Mainframe protocols • A genuine enthusiasm and understanding for data integration and emerging technology initiatives • Proficient ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong PC skills (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and VISIO) • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on behalf of the business Excellent benefit package which includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Supplemental Life Insurance, Supplemental Dependant Life Insurance, AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability, Matching 401K, Matching ESPP, Medical and Dependant Care Flexible Spending Account and EAP.
