Client Relationship Specialist
Fulton Bank Southern Division is a full service retail institution with over $1 billion in assets seeking a Client Relationship Specialist for our headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA.

The successful Client Relationship Specialist candidate will embody these qualities and be responsible for deposit and loan product knowledge to assist in identifying, discussing, processing, and making referrals to satisfy the financial needs of new and existing clients. The candidate will also be esponsible for understanding and complying with all policies and procedures related to the position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Responsible for exploring and defining sales opportunities for products and services at the branch by:
· Understanding Bank products and services, their features, benefits, and how they work so that appropriate product recommendations can be made to clients and action can be taken to initiate the product or service.
· Identifying referral opportunities for other bank products and services (loans, cash management, investments, mortgages, etc.), and contacting the appropriate employee.
· Participating in a branch team environment in which employees perform individually and collectively to achieve branch sales goals.
2. Provides excellent customer service at the branch by:
· Greeting clients in a friendly manner by smiling, establishing eye contact, expressing a desire to help, using a friendly tone of voice, using the client’s name, and saying “thank you”.
· Providing ongoing support to customers regarding products and services.
· Providing solutions to problems, errors, deficiencies, or obstacles by involving appropriate departments/personnel to achieve client and bank satisfaction.
· Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
· Performing administrative/operational tasks as directed without taking precedence over client needs.
3. Contributes to the efficient operation of the branch by:
· Completing all documentation necessary for products and services.
· Performing or assisting with other branch duties as assigned, such as audits, maintaining branch logs, opening and closing branch, night deposit transactions, balancing and maintaining ATM.
· Willingness to assist co-workers and share responsibilities.
· Adhering to established schedule by not only arriving, but being ready to work, on time.
· Maintaining good working relations with fellow employees to ensure teamwork within the branch and throughout the bank.
· Performing the services of a Client Services Representative when needed.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. As demonstrated by previous experience and/or training, the following skills are required:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong customer service experience.
· Resourceful problem solving ability.
· Ability to recognize referral opportunities.
2. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
3. Must have 2 – 3 years teller and new accounts experience in a sales environment.
4. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include Saturdays.
