Client Service Specialist

Local bank has an immediate need for a Client Service Specialist. Must have outstanding customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members.  Must be a team player who is able to multi-task and be flexible within this role.



 

STANDARD SERVICE DUTIES:

 

Check cashing, processing deposits and loan payments.

Issuance of cashier checks and travelers checks.

Processing credit card payments through Certegy

Account closings upon written request.

Verify cash and endorsements.

Processing mail in deposits and mailing receipts.

Balancing cash drawer weekly.

 

VAULT TELLER FUNCTIONS:

 

Buy/sell cash to tellers and Federal Reserve.

Verify incoming/outgoing shipments from Fed.

Email accounting department of all Fed. Shipments.

Balance currency/coin vaults.

Maintain vault log.

 

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES:

 

Batch out credit card terminal daily if used.

E-report download.

Daily card source transmission.

Teller cash recaps balanced daily.

Monthly teller totals to accounting department.
