Job Description: 

Opportunity to be a part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a growing financial company.
The Commercial Account Manager position will be responsible for acquiring, growing and retaining relationships with commercial C&I customers. Clients managed and acquired will be in the Orlando and surrounding area.


Requirements: 

Experience in successfully growing and retaining a commercial C&I portfolio.

Market knowledge of the Orlando area.

Strong credit, underwriting and portfolio management skills.

Experience in actively calling on new companies/clients.

Excellent negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.



Key Accountabilities: 

The Commercial Account Manager will be accountable for the following:

Expanding current relationships by regularly initiating contact to follow-up previous conversations, uncover additional needs or review the customers' current holdings relative to their financial needs.

Conducting sales activities and leverages internal and external networks to meet defined sales goals.

Applying a good knowledge of sales routines in order to sell financial solutions and retain relationships.

Effectively negotiates pricing and fee arrangements to ensure a win-win situation for the Bank and the customer.

Requires a good understanding of the sales process (Contact, Identification of needs, Proposal, Result) in order to develop pipelines, customer strategies and contact plans.

Executes on these plans to retain and expand relationships. Leverages RBC Financial Group specialists to solidify relationships and further meet the needs of the customer base.

Setting sales & referral goals, plan activities, self assess performance, and determine steps required to close gaps.

Openly asks for coaching support and shares successes of performance with others.

Partners with his/her manager to make the performance management routine a value-added process.

Meeting a defined sales plan and to contribute to the overall team results.


Knowledgeable about the banking products and services and proactively identify opportunities to refer customers to their colleagues.

Working one on one with customers to understand their financial objectives and assist them with solutions to meet their current and future needs.

Developing customer strategies and contact plans for each customer to ensure the relationship is being expanded.
