We have a great opportunity in San Diego for a motivated professional to support the business units by providing a detailed analysis of financial statements and credit histories for loan personnel to assist in the administration of commercial borrowing accounts.

Specifically, you will:Prepare financial projections and simple/routine credit requests and reviews Obtain and analyze all necessary financial data using specialized commercial credit analysis software Communicate with credit applicants Support the unit's goals through effective credit analysis of credit applications and identify business needs and corresponding sales opportunities Interact with credit administration, servicing, operations, appraisal, legal, and other related personnel working assets regarding issues of quality, pricing, new business and related trends Make recommendations to relationship manager for loan approval/terms and review credit checks Coordinate the ordering of documents and assist in the documentation of loans to evidence debt and to ensure perfection of the Bank's security interest in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements Identify opportunities to refer customers and/or potential customers to other departments to provide services that meet their needs Remain current on changes in economic/market conditions that might affect credit risk and make recommendations on implementation of changes to operations

Candidates must possess:A BA/BS in business or economics 2-3 years of industry experience Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, commercial loan processing, and industry relevant software used for analysis Experience preparing loan presentations and drafting loan requests The ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow PC proficiency with MS Office Excellent analytical, research, negotiation, organizational, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
