Commercial Credit Analyst II

Performs analysis of moderately complex commercial loan requests. Identifies key strengths and weaknesses, and provides a recommended risk rating and an alternative structure when necessary, while noting any deviations from Commercial Loan Policy. Meets with Commercial Loan Officers independently to discuss issues and ask questions. Exercises some authority for unreviewed analysis and recommendations. May analyze larger market loans under a higher level of review. Provides coaching and training for less experienced staff. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.Requirements: 4 year college degree (two semester of accounting preferred), or equivalent combination of course work and work experience. 1-2 years of Commercial Credit/Lending experience. Developed knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques. Demonstrated ability to gather, consolidate, analyze, and summarize data to provide well-considered recommendations on an increasingly independent basis. Ability to successfully work on multiple analytical assignments without loss in quality. Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to engage in successful analytical conversation. Developed PC skills including demonstrated proficiency and capability in word processing, spreadsheet software, and internal systems. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and customer information. Good interpersonal skills and a team orientation. Demonstrated ability to successfully act independently, weighing competing priorities according to business needs.
