Commercial Loan Administrator

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, but in line with established policies and procedures, is responsible for assisting the commercial officers compile information for credit requests.  Is responsible for managing/maintaining customer credit files and assists the officer with a wide range of servicing duties related to FWBT loan relationships.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Receives commercial credit applications, and requests appropriate searches to complete the decision/document preparation process including:

· Pulling credit bureaus

· Requesting flood determinations

· Requesting appropriate title work

· Performing UCC searches and filings

· Prepare appropriate loan agreements/documents

· Prepare disbursement items

· Prepare loan file for booking and imagingAssists commercial officers with necessary functions in order to manage their workload.Compilation of data for credit requestsManagement of credit fileAssists officers with a wide range of servicing duties related to loan relationships.Assists officers to apply due diligence in compliance with FWBT loan policy and approved structure for each credit.Files, organizes and maintains all documents within a loan file.  Maintains ticklers for items that need to be collected such as recorded mortgages, annual statements from clients, flood insurance, etc.Participates in bank functions/meetings and performs all other duties assigned by supervisor.Interacts with the bank’s commercial customers and with local professionals involved in customer relationships.  (i.e. insurance agents, attorneys and accountants)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.  Basic typing abilities and a broad knowledge of departmental operations, policies and procedures

 

2.  The interpersonal skills to communicate effectively via telephone and in person with employees, bank customers and local professionals

 

3.  Ability to perform multi-tasks at the same time while paying attention to detail

 

4.  A high school diploma or equivalent with a concentration in the business area

 

5.  One to three years of experience in a loan department

 

6.  Ability to organize and compile financial information and credit requests

 

7.  PC knowledge including updating and creating excel spreadsheets and word processing capabilities
