Commercial Loan Administrator II

Provides ongoing customer service and documentation support as loan officer's liaison on assigned commercial accounts, providing professional and efficient service to external and internal customers to ensure data accuracy, avoid losses and reduce undue risk. Coordinates preparation of documentation for new and existing commercial loans with loan officers, commercial loan administration, outside attorneys and other vendors, customers and others, according to established Company policy and applicable industry regulations. Researches and gathers necessary supporting documentation, including business and individual credit reports, tax returns, information on other lenders to customer, collateral, environmental, flood risks and other information. Organizes final document packages for closing. May coordinate recording of transactions in the public record, send completed loan documentation packages to quality control area, resolve any issues identified, set up ticklers in system as reminders of various actions needed and disburse loan funds to customers. Coordinates credit facility renewals and performs variety of portfolio-related and customer service activities on an ongoing basis. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.Requirements: High School Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required, 2 year college degree preferred. 2-4 years related experience required. Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, credit policy, loan documentation and administration requirements and legal and regulatory guidelines. Strong knowledge of and experience applying commercial lending policy and procedures, including lending authority, loan structures, risk ratings, loan to value ratio and other related information. Customer service skills, including polite, professional and confident interaction with external and internal customers to facilitate transactions. Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Flexible and adaptable to change, with ability to learn new tasks and systems quickly. Ability to multi-task and learn quickly. Math skills and accuracy with numbers and transactions required. Demonstrated strong attention to detail, including ability to review large amounts of detailed documents for accuracy. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
