Commercial Loan Assistant, Baton Rouge Banking Center

Position Summary:
Provides support to Senior Vice President/Vice President of Commercial Lending and the Commercial Lending Team at our Baton Rouge Banking Center by updating commercial loan data and ensuring that loan files contain proper documentation, signatures and other relevant data. Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation. Assists in maintaining banking center policies and procedures. Provides administrative support to Commercial Lenders. Participates in training including; Sales, Service, Compliance and Product. Represents the bank in community affairs. Actively refers leads on loans, brokerage and other services to the appropriate specialist.

Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of loan documentation and operations preferably in a commercial loan department. Strong understanding of banking products and services. Strong interpersonal communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in loan operations.  Prefer 5 years experience. Ability to build solid business partnerships. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook/Lotus Notes. Strong time management and organizational skills.
