Commercial Loan Production Group Leader (68) - Lynn

The Loan Production Group Team Leader is one of the key managers that will report directly to the Director of Commercial Operations. In addition to managing the Loan Production staff which is responsible for the documentation, closing and booking of all new loans, renewals, extensions and modifications, the Team Leader will be a key member of the Commercial Operations Management Team and will sit on numerous cross-divisional workgroups in an effort to improve processes and create efficiencies throughout the bank. Other responsibilities include: Working with Commercial Lenders and Portfolio Managers as well as outside counsel, ensures that all commercial loans, renewals, extensions and modifications are closed and documented in accordance with the terms and conditions of the approval. Ensures that all commercial loans conform with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to BSA, Patriot Act, Reg. B, Reg. O, Flood, HMDA, CRA, etc.Works with all parties to commercial loans to insure that complex transactions are appropriately documented and later set up on the bank's systems.Manages the commercial production pipeline ensuring that loans progress through the system as efficiently as possible. Required SkillsStrong knowledge of commercial banking compliance issues and regulations.Extensive knowledge of commercial loan documentation and legal lending requirements.Strong knowledge of commercial banking operations and servicingUnderstandingof general banking operations and activitiesSuperior communication, organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills required Excellent management skills to insure staff developmentStrong systems knowledge including that of Metavante, ECM, LaserPro, MS Office requiredDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines Required ExperienceBachelor's degree or or equivilentknowledge/skills base gained through experience is required.Paralegal Certificate/Degree and or legal experience is desired.3 - 5 years of loan documentation experience required.Capable of reading, comprehending, analyzing and interpreting legal documentsMicrocomputer experience required.Experience training, motivating and managing a staff is required.Experience managing projects is required.
