Job Title: Commercial Relationship Manager

Position Summary:
Responsible for the acquisition, retention and expansion of small business / profile clients and prospects. Accountable for developing revenue growth through generation of loans, deposits, fee-based services, cross-selling all applicable bank products and services to existing client base to increase # of product/services sold and to identify and solicit bank services to non-customers. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Description:
Leverage the sales process (sales plans, sales meetings, one on ones, daily 3x3’s, 5x5’s, etc…) and effectively utilize high performance sales tactics (agenda based calls, high impact summary letters, second prize, etc…) to retain and grow profitable new business of small business / profile clients and to support the achievement of the corporate strategic plan for commercial banking. Proactively serve as the customer’s trusted advisor and idea generator throughout CBC by engaging the full resources of CBC to uncover and deliver value solutions to meet the key objectives of the client. Fully explore client financial profiles to provide creative options ensuring the full integration of all banking products to maximize customer relationships. Includes: Consumer, Commercial, CB Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Treasury Management. Negotiate loan terms and conditions and document opportunity details for loan underwriting. Attend loan closings and ensure proper execution of documentation. Take ownership of credit quality of portfolio, compile and analyze data for commercial loan requests and validate obligor and facility ratings. Responsible for CAP/ACAP content. Manage portfolios to the highest profit potential for the corporation while adhering to credit policy and regulatory requirements. (Watch credit, issue resolution, exp & mat. loans, past-dues; covenant/servicing) Transition clients to appropriate area when appropriate. Participate in various community affairs and projects to promote the image of the Bank and further develop new business opportunities. Establish and maintain a network of resourceful working relationships with internal business partners and external centers of influence. Also, provide constructive peer feedback when appropriate. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance issues linked to the job and the team and understand how these issues help the bank achieve the vision of remaining an independent bank.
Qualifications:
BS / BA with formal credit analysis preferred. 3 years previous banking experience preferred – demonstrated professional sales success. Required knowledge and competencies include: Sales, Passion, Network, Build commitment, Product knowledge, Time management, Social, Communication, Listening, Credit knowledge, Teamwork, Ability to close, Delegation, Team player, Partnership, Willingness.
