Commercial Relationship Manager I

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Market and develop new commercial relationships with a focus on companies with a sales size of 5mm 15mm.

- Build and develop customer relationships to position Sovereign Bank as the bank of choice.

 

- Implement a disciplined structured business development process to bring in new business relationships

 

- Manage a commercial portfolio with an emphasis on cross selling bank products and services, both consumer and Business.

- Refer all companies with a loan request of $500M or more to the assigned CRM partner.

- Develop an cultivate a strong COI base.

- Consistently source and refer business to our partners i.e. CRMs, cash management, mortgage, investments middle market etc.  Reporting MIS.

-  Attend and participate in Sales Meetings. Input results  daily, weekly and monthly into Sales Net.

- Weekly pipeline reporting.

- Ready willing and able to present sales results at all times.

- Work closely with the branches to ensure the best results for the customer and the bank at all times.

- Work with internal and external customers and corporate compliance to ensure conformity with bank policies and procedures and federal state regulations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

- 4 year degree or 5+ years of commercial banking and sales experience.

- Demonstrates superior sales, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, written and verbal communications skills.

- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and leverage professional relationships within and outside the bank. Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and complete them on time.
