Commerical Credit Analyst

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union has a rare opportunity for an experienced commercial credit analyst who wants to make a difference for a member-focused, full service credit union.  The primary purpose of this position is to originate, underwrite and monitor the credit union's portfolio of commercial loans with the overall objective of maintaining and increasing its asset quality, and to develop new and existing business relationships.  REQUIRES AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF DIRECT BUSINESS LENDING EXPERIENCE.

 

This is a Monday – Friday, full-time position with benefit eligibility after 90 days, which includes participation in our health plan, paid time off accrual, employee loan discounts, a generous 401(k) retirement package and best of all – you get to join a great credit union!

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 Takes applications for commercial loan business.  Reviews member financial condition and assesses the member's ability to re-pay the loan.  Makes underwriting decisions within approval authority.  Completes or directs completion of all loan documents and closes loans. Monitors existing loan portfolio to maintain a high-quality asset base.  Maintains up-to-date client files including current balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow projections and all loan documentation.Participates in developing lending and deposit business for the credit union.Assists in collection of past due loans and overdraft checking accounts.Assists members with any business services questions and concernsPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.
