Job Description
In this dynamic, public-facing role, the successful candidate will:
Address community development needs in the San Joaquin Valley (including affordable housing, foreclosure prevention and mitigation, non-profit capacity building, small business development, access to financial services, asset building, and workforce development) by building partnerships with financial institutions, community organizations, and local/state/federal government.Understand community development needs, opportunities, and best practices, and identify and help to replicate successful community development programs in the San Joaquin Valley.Provide technical assistance to financial institutions and community organizations on community development finance, policy, and regulations.Create and support community-based collaborative programs to address community development needs.Plan, coordinate, market, and facilitate meetings, conferences, and seminars for a wide variety of audiences

Position Requirements
Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferableDemonstrated skill in building partnerships to address community development needsExperience planning and facilitating meetings and conferencesFamiliarity with community development needs and potential partners in the San Joaquin ValleyBackground in community development finance and/or policyStrong oral and written business communication skills, including public speakingFamiliarity with the Community Reinvestment ActAbility to transform ideas into practical resultsGood computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to travel both within and outside of the 12th Federal Reserve District, including overnight travelPosition location is flexible, but the ideal candidate will be based in a home office in the San Joaquin Valley, California. Travel will be primarily within the Central Valley, so the applicant must possess a valid drivers license and have access to an automobile.
