York Traditions Bank is Growing!  As a progressive, independent, hometown community bank, York Traditions Bank is seeking enthusiastic people who value relationships, wish to join a dynamic team of professionals and desire to make a difference for our customers.  Due to recent growth we have an immediate opening for a Compliance Administrator.

 

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the Banks Compliance Program which includes policy development and legal compliance.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

· Responsible for the Bank’s compliance with anti-money laundering, privacy, customer information security and deposit regulations.

· Develops and maintains policies and procedures as it relates to the above mentioned regulations. 

· Conducts day to day  anti money laundering procedures including monitoring customer transaction activity and other risk avoidance actions. Researches and investigates unusual or suspicious transaction activity. Prepares and files all reports including SAR’s,  required by state or federal law. 

· Serves as the BSA/AML/OFAC Officer and the Information Security Officer.

· Responsible for the development and delivery of compliance training for areas of responsibility.

· Assist Branch Administration to develop workable policies and procedures for the branch staff  that comply with regulatory guidelines. 

· Primary liaison with outsourced compliance administration organization. 

· Participates in the development of products and services to ensure regulatory compliance.

 

The ideal candidate will have a 4 year college degree and 5 years of experience in compliance or related banking activities.  In addition, the candidate must have knowledge of and the ability to interpret Bank Compliance Regulations.  Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, process and troubleshoot various types of issues a must.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills, the ability to handle multiple projects at one time and exceptional knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products PC skills are also required.
