The desk is responsible for implementing systems to optimally execute the huge equity flows coming through the banks various business lines. You will be working with some of the best programmers in the banking industry. Innovating more efficient methods of execution will result in higher PnL for the electronic trading desk and the developers on the desk are compensated in line with this PnL. You will have significant interaction with traders and quants in order to share ideas and skills in order to complete your projects to the highest possible level. My client is looking for somebody with up to 4 years of experience working as a professional developer. For candidates with no work experience, you will have a Masters degree in Computer Science from a top academic institution with a first class degree. Other technical subjects such as Mathematics and Physics will only be considered if you have previous work experience as a professional developer and are proficient in multi threading, Inter Process Communications and TCP/IP. You should be an expert in C++ and  have significant experience in any of Python, Perl, Java, Ruby, .NET, PHP and Java script . Experience in writing Neural Networks or other Artificial Intelligence algorithms and data mining will be advantageous.
