This is an excellent opportunity for you to use your financial knowledge and sales abilities to assist, educate and sell appropriate consumer products and services to our members.  Position is located in our Brentwood, MO location.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Identifies and cross sells appropriate deposit, consumer loans and convenience products by assessing members’ financial needs and offering suitable products.

· Opens and assists members with depository accounts (savings, checking, certificates of deposit, money markets and IRAs).Meets individual and credit union service goals on a consistent basis by demonstrating effective sales and service.Completes “warm calls” to members to follow up on service levels and to provide Credit Union with the opportunity to cross-sell additional products.Educates members on the benefits and features of our products and services.Provides information to members and answers inquiries in-person and over the phone in an environment of heavy phone volume. Follow-up calls to members.

· Assists team members with loan closings and member inquiries.

 

Preferred candidates will have college and 2 years experience selling financial products.  In addition, candidates need a working knowledge of consumer lending products and services, loan documents, and closing loans for auto, signature and home equity loans.

  Candidates must have excellent communication and problem solving skills, ability to discuss members’ personal financial information with clarity and discretion, a “can-do” attitude, and have the ability to identify needs.

 

West Community Credit Union offers a base salary and monthly incentive plus excellent benefits including 401K and Pension.  Hours: Monday – Friday and alternate Saturdays.
