SUMMARY Responsible for meeting or exceeding all corporate objectives by converting approved and conditionally approved loan applications into funded loans. Contribute to the overall credit quality, weighted average buy rate, and conversion ratios of the Consumer Auto Center (CAC). RESPONSIBILITIES: - Initiates telephone sales of direct automobile loan products and ancillary products direct to consumers. Discloses approval terms/conditions to meet and exceed established performance plan including volume, capture ratios, and ancillary product sales. Ensures underwriting modifications of both prime and non-prime loan requests are directed to the CAC Credit Analysts for final approval prior to loan document preparation. - Coordinates with dealerships, internal and external customers to compile necessary loan information. Ensures lending guidelines are met and promotes best practices within the company to comply with State and Federal regulations. Thoroughly verifies customer and loan information and ensures accuracy of contract figures to mitigate fraud. - Monitors individual sales queue to adhere to service level agreements. - Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. - College degree or equivalent work experience required. - Two years sales experience with two years in auto finance preferred. - Prior experience in underwriting automobile loan applications and previous exposure to call center environment preferred. - Good negotiation skills. - Strong verbal communication skills required. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Basic computer knowledge (i.e. Word, Excel, Explorer). - Well-developed organizational and time management skills needed. - Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
