Our new Corporate Sales Applicant must be able to: Take the 18 hour self study CMPS Institute curriculum and pass the exam  Always communicate to potential clients their interests come first, always convey your interests are in helping them understand the benefits of being a member of the CMPS Institute and always demonstrate to them your soft selling skills

Job Description and Title:  Corporate Sales 

 Calling on regional and national banks/mortgage companies with the intention of getting their loan officers to go through the CMPS live or self-study certification program; both individual and corporate packages are availableCalling on title companies, wholesale lenders, and other service providers within the mortgage and real estate industry with the intention to get them to participate in sponsoring one or more of the CMPS Institute sponsorship programs Daily communication, strategic planning and priority of assignments will be via IM, e-mail and conference calls with the chairmanRequires excellent comprehension, soft selling and communication skills 

 

Additional Responsibilities:Receiving, answering phones, e-mails and correspondence concerning increasing our membershipSigning into the administrative side of our website and using the administrative panel to create sales reports

Requirements / Skills Needed:

 

The applicant for sales person must be proficient in the art of soft selling, office procedures, typing, spelling, MS Office, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, multi-tasking, research, phone and e-mail etiquette. We are looking for an aggressive and gentle person who can read something without knowing or specializing in the subject yet comprehend the concept.  Comprehension and articulation of concepts is the key as opposed to being a mortgage or financial expert.

 If the applicant is experienced and qualified, we must verify past success with tax returns and role playing.If the applicant is inexperienced but qualified, applicant must be able to demonstrate qualifications by role playing.   



Location / Work environment:



Full time employees will be set up to work out of your own home office with:A computer One Internet connection to log into our server: accessing company documents, databases and faxOne phone line, to be dedicated solely to the CMPS Institute

 

Compensation:Full time @ 40 hours  Salary up to $2,000 per month base plus 15 % commission on all sales made

We do not pay:

·  40 hours of special sales and office training before possible hire - Applicant must go through a 40 hour sales and office training week, focusing on the CMPS Institute culture, policy and procedures.  This period gives both the CMPS Institute and the applicant an opportunity to evaluate one another to see if this is a good fit for both parties.  We will be looking at soft selling and people skills, reading, researching, comprehension, organization, office, computer, typing, e-mail correspondence and phone etiquette skills.

·  18 hours self study CMPS Institute curriculum and passing of the exam

·  Employee health insurance, sick or vacation days
