A Credit Analyst III will be responsible for conducting credit investigations and analyzing moderate to complex credit information pertaining to commercial loans for multi-family new construction, office, retail and industrial properties. Duties include investigating all available sources of credit and financial information, including reporting services, credit bureaus, other companies, main office files and branches and analyzing financial statements and related material for senior credit analysts, lending officers, or committees in the making of lending decisions on new, renewal, and extension loans. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing summaries regarding credit-worthiness and providing credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or other agencies as requested. The Credit Analyst III will assist in the training of less-experienced analysts as needed. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General Business or Accounting is preferred 4+ years of job related experience within a commercial real estate banking environment is preferred Understanding of collateral requirements with general exposure to documentation Knowledge of credit investigations MS Word and Excel required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding customer service skills Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
