Credit Officer III

PNC Bank is currently searching for an experienced Credit Officer to join our growing staff. The Credit Officer III assesses and responds to client product needs that contain an element of credit risk in a fashion that addresses credit and return considerations. Administers independently a portfolio of larger and more complex credit relationships. Interacts with Underwriters, Relationship Managers, Bank Management, clients and prospects. Will have significant direct credit approval authority, and larger credit decisions will rely heavily on work prepared. Will utilize well-developed loan structuring and pricing skills, client calling skills and relationship management expertise. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, with an MBA, CPA, CFA or other advanced degree preferred. Participation in lending or credit activities for a period of six or more years is required. Must have highly advanced credit analysis skills, and a thorough knowledge of risk management, credit policy and credit administration procedures. Strong teamwork and communications skills. Must be self-motivated and proficient in time-management skills.
