Credit Team Leader II

Job Description:Supervise team of Credit Officers and Underwriters as well as other support staff responsible for underwriting and decisioning commercial loan requests both new credit, renewal/reviews, and administrative service actions covering multiple lines of business across the entire PNC footprint.  Maintain close communication with market sales and risk management, and all internal regulatory oversight staff.  Loan requests are decisioned using conventional judgmental analysis and/or statistical scoring as the primary underwriting methods plus use of behavioral scoring to assist in ongoing post origination loan management.   Responsible for maintaining strong credit quality and consistent underwriting to arrive at the correct business decision.  Responsible for providing high customer service partner satisfaction, total quality and continuous improvement for delivering PNC Bank's products and services in all areas of responsibility. Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in either finance or accounting. MBA, CPA, CFA or other advanced degree preferred. Minimum of ten years of Commercial Lending/Credit experience or equivalent in comparable jobs.  Management experience in a credit environment desired.   In-depth knowledge of how to analyze financial statements, evaluate credit risks, and structure loan requests in order to acquire new customers and retain existing customers in a highly competitive environment while maintaining acceptable credit standards.  Must be able to lead a team of credit professionals utilizing strong managerial skills.
