Customer Care Associates will deliver outstanding service to our customers over the telephone. Our associates fulfill customer needs while working in a hazard insurance processing center by using various means of communication; following company guidelines to perform tasks; resolving claimant questions and problems and by being knowledgeable on company products and services. While this description is intended to accurately reflect the current job, management will review the job, as needed, and may require that different tasks be performed, depending on circumstances in the workplace. Ideal candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency. 1-2 years equivalent work experience in customer care service or call center environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to make good decisions and follow schedule adherence; proficiency with Windows operating systems. Computer testing required. Internal Applicants: Must have been in current position for 1 year. (Exception: when there is a documented business need approved by Human Resources to waive the one year requirement) Must not have had a HR level or above Performance Improvement Report issued within the previous 12 months, unless a written document confirming successful improvement has been submitted to HR for review and has been placed in the associate’s official HR personnel file.
