Customer Service - Banking
Quorum Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Part-Time Service Center Specialist to interact with customers and provide information on our products and services. Responsibilites Include: Service Center Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
1. Educates members on the use of credit union service options.2. Coordinates business development and member education activities in the service center/s through sponsor relationships, special events, table set-ups, and site visits. Some site visits may require overnight travel.3. Provides training support to assigned service centers.4. Performs back-up duties for Regional Managers and other service center positions as needed.5. Provides financial counseling to members through personal communication and analysis of financial needs.6. Cross-sells Credit Union products and services to support Credit Union goals.7. Compiles and maintains various management reports.8. Answers loan and mortgage questions, takes loan applications, makes referrals to MST, and disburses loans.9. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.10. Stays abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to changes in regulations, technology, etc.11. Performs annual projects as assigned by Regional Manager. 12. Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to get along with members, co-workers, management and vendors.13. Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications
1. College degree in finance or business administration preferred with 3 - 5 years of related experience at a credit union, bank or other financial institution.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
3. Knowledge of current word processing and spreadsheet computer software.
4. Detailed knowledge of regulatory guidelines and issues.
5. Must travel to service center locations as assigned.
