Performs a variety of complex and advanced clerical/administrative functions in accordance with standard procedures. Responsible for reviewing, expediting, and conducting the setup of new merchant accounts. Make necessary maintenance changes to existing merchant accounts if applicable, follow established guidelines to ensure that the application process is complete. 1. Performs accurate data entry of new merchant accounts including any required changes into database.
2. Processes daily system maintenance, add service requests and/or set-up. Reviews and corrects any errors.
3. Contacts vendors/clients for additional information regarding merchant accounts.
4. Assists team leader with training new team members.
5. Monitors systems for rejects and application flow.
6. Performs various administrative tasks such as filing, copying, etc.
1. Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent with three years administrative or clerical experience.

3. Skills or Special Abilities
-- Knowledge of computer software systems including word processing and spreadsheets.
-- Ability to provide quality customer service.
-- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
-- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
