Customer Service Rep - Part Time - Los Angeles

Rate of Pay:  $12.02 – $15.32 PER HOUR (D.O.E.)



Days:  MONDAY – FRIDAY



Hours: 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

 

Benefits: No Benefits except 401K and ESOP

 

 MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYOPERATIONS

Open new accounts, IRAs and CDs. Accept deposits and loan payments for credit to customers’ accounts. Process teller transactions, including wire transfer requests, verifying account balances, and endorsements. Set up EasyOnline for customers. Negotiate transactions within assigned limits as approved by Management. Obtain supervisor approval for processing transactions that exceed assigned limits. Issue Cashier’s Checks, traveler’s cheques, temporary checks and corporate checks. Balance cash and negotiables. Prepare Verification of Deposit Forms. Report any discrepancy between actual duties performed and written policies and/or procedures to Branch Management. Maintain security of assigned cash, keys and negotiable instruments. Comply with all security procedures. Participate in the testing of alarm and security devices on a quarterly basis. Meet each month with your direct supervisor to discuss Performance Plan results.

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

1.  Minimum one year of cash handling and new account experience.

2.  Minimum one year of experience in establishing IRA relationships.

3.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

4.  Knowledge of operational, security and personnel procedures in a financial institution.

5.  Minimum one year of retail sales/customer service experience.
