Customer Service Representative I - Online Banking Utica, NY-Upstate Job Description: Assists customers with questions or issues regarding their accounts received via phone and/or correspondence. Calls are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. May respond to faxes and emails. Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. Requires basic knowledge of the organization, products and/or services. Must have good communication and problem-solving skills. May research issues or transfer to a research function. Required: *At least 1 year Customer Service or Operational Experience *At least 1 year experience with difficult /challenging customer situations *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Strong typing skills and ability to navigate through web based systems *Scheduling flexibility as schedules may change as the business' needs change Desired: *Current or Recent Call Center Experience *Knowledge of Merlin, BOSS and Outlook Target start date for this class is June 2, 2008. Training will consist of 6 weeks, Monday - Friday 12:00 - 9:00 pm and includes classroom as well as on the job training. After the conclusion of training, the scheduled works hours are Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 11:30 am - 10:00 pm.
