Job DescriptionInsurance.com is looking for an energetic and creative Data Warehouse Developer to develop ETL for new data marts. You will be a key member of the Data Warehousing department responsible for project-based and operational activities. The ideal candidate should be self motivated and enjoy the challenges of working in fast paced environment. Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain ETL packages for new data marts including the Real Time Data Warehouse Creation of Source/Target mappings including BUS matrix Helps in developing standards/best practices in ETL design and maintenance Translate business requirements into technical implementation strategies Document all phases of development to support our Enterprise Metadata Management Job Qualifications3-5 years experience creating ETL processes in a production environment General understanding of data warehousing concepts (Kimball methodologies) Prior experience working with TSA, PSA and ODS systems 3+ years working with SQL Server 2000/2005 Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Outstanding analytical thinker who possesses the ability to think outside the box
