The successful candidate will provide database administration and support for Bank application projects using Microsoft SQL Server. Duties include:
implementing and maintaining database structures, monitor and tune database environments, ensure integrity and recoverability of database structures apply service packs and fixpaks as necessary.

The DBA shall provide guidance and assistance in the development, maintenance, administration, and enforcement of database management standards and guidelines.

Essential Skills
Position Requirements:
3 years of previous DBA experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005Strong technical skills in database environments running on Windows Expertise with Analysis Services and OLAPExpertise with database backup and recovery issuesExpertise in database configuration and tuningExperience designing and implementing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DTS packages or 2005 SSISExperience troubleshooting database errors in a multi-tier application environmentExcellent communication skills (both oral and written) and strong analysis skills are essential

Must be a US CitizenDesirable skills:
Experience with MQ Series and/or DB2 ConnectExperience with Clustered database environmentsExperience with data warehouse methodologyExperience with SQL2005 Common Language RuntimeExperience with Reporting Services
