CIF Clerk II

 

Under the direct supervision of the Deposit Services supervisors, the CIF (Central Information Files) Clerk performs a variety of duties in support of department operations and procedures.

 

Responsibilities Include:

· Verify stop payment report with stop payment forms

· Verify Lock Flags with forms and as prescribed in our procedures for accounts opened with temporary cards or accounts opened as agent/landlord accounts

· Retrieve internal transfer reports and post any rejected items

· Verify that all new account signature cards are received and completed

· Verify accuracy of data input for new account openings and file maintenance for existing accounts which includes:

· Account relationship codes

· Customer ID

· TIN & TIN certification

· Type/rate/term/maturity date

· Source codes

· Promotional guidelines

· Waive Service Charge codes

· Maintain verification log for errors and corrections

· Maintain open and closed CD files

· Interfile forms after verification
