Development Process Automation Analyst

Description:The Information Technology Department delivers superior customer experiences through the development and support of front and back office systems while focusing on IT's four core values: Partnership, Excellence, Innovation and Efficiency.IT Development is responsible for all aspects of software project delivery including business analysis, technical design, software development, project management, vendor management and quality assurance. Job Summary:The Process Automation Programmer/Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining ING DIRECT's IT Framework and tools. The framework includes Requirements, Development, QA and Deployment tools. The IT Framework tools and methodology is used by the development teams in INGD.Essential Functions:* Tools and Administration* Administration of VersionOne, AntHillPro, Subversion and other tools* Performing maintenance and upgrades of the tools* Identify and implement tools integration* Build & Release* Create and manage build scripts for JAVA and .NET applications* Improvise and optimize software builds* Create and manage deployment scripts for highly automated deployments* Configuration Management* Manage branching and labelling strategy in Subversion and VSS.* Provide direction to development on source code management for agile development* Actively participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders.* Continuous Improvement:* Implement tactical improvements for IT Framework* Develop the expertise within the team.Qualifications:Experience & Qualifications:* 5 plus years experience in Configuration Management, Build & Release.* 6 plus years work experience in software development.* 6 plus years work experience with SDLC tools e.g. requirements management, development etc.Education and/or Certifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.* Masters Degree in Computer Science is a plus.Technical skills and abilities:* Ability to communication clearly in written and verbal form.* Strong team leadership capability.* Ability to manage conflicting interests and identify compromises.* Ability to deliver under pressure.* High-energy, can-do, results oriented personality.* AntHill, VersionOne and subversion experience (knowledge of similar tools will be considered)* Test tools and automation expertise.* Testing processes experience.* Strong business analytic skillsSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceING DIRECT offers one of the best benefits plans around, providing medical and dental health coverage; flexible spending accounts; 401K retirement plans and fitness programs.Job Location: Wilmington, DEJob Number: 5956Company Profile:Why join the ING DIRECT team?
