Direct Lending Loan Analyst 3

Conducts credit analysis and underwriting for the approval/denial of consumer loans.  Determines appropriate information needed for use in performing a credit quality analysis.  Initiates communication with branch personnel, staff, realtors, title companies, etc. to obtain needed documents.  Documentation may include appraisals, title reports, credit reports, verifications, tax returns, financial statements, etc. necessary to complete the file and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.Verifies information provided on all documentation including appraisals, property values, purpose collateral, income, tax returns, collateral ownership and lien position.  Reviews and processes exceptions up to the extent of exception authority.  Answers questions from and provides information to branch personnel. Note:  This position is a non-exempt (hourly) position that will become exempt (salaried) upon satisfactory completion of the training period. Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with some Saturdays required. Your Career is Here.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - One to three years of experience in credit analysis and/or lending activities Preferred Skills/Experience - Basic knowledge of credit and risk analysis, underwriting, administration, and lending policies and procedures - Thorough knowledge of loan documentation and loan processing/closing practices for assigned product line - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously - Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Email this Job to a Friend View all opportunities Job TItle: Direct Lending Loan Analyst 3 Location: Portland, OR 97230 Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Banking/Real Estate/Mortgage Professionals Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
