Effectively coordinate with the various client departments, independent auditors and internal State Street departments to deliver all reporting projects in accordance with the agreed upon production schedule. Coordinate and oversee all participants assigned to a project to keep it on track. demonstrate ability to discuss service issues and problems with the client and with the next level of State Street management.Recognize issues which should be communicated to the next level of State Street management.Reliability, proficiently and consistently perform a comprehensive and accurate financial statement review in adherence with standard review procedures and production schedule deadlines.Demonstrate ability to quickly and accurately prepare high quality financial statements.Employee SpecificationsB.S. degree in Accounting, Business, related field or equivalent work experience required. MBA or CPA a plus. Seven-ten years of experience in mutual fund accounting, compliance, auditing or related business activity. Ability to effectively manage relationships, both inside and outside of State Street Corporation, and within the client organization. Current knowledge of key mutual fund treasury and administrative functions, including understanding of securities processing, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)and general ledger accounting for mutual funds, as well as SEC and IRS compliance requirements. Working knowledge of Regulation S-X related to mutual fund financial reporting and disclosure requirements. Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical, process and/or human resource related issues in a "zero error tolerance" mutual fund operations environment.Click here to apply
