Position Summary

Partners Federal Credit Union, located in Orlando, Florida is seeking a progressive risk executive to promote and ensure sound operational management.  This individual will be responsible for overseeing audit functions, ensuring a compliant operation, establishing controls to reduce incidents of fraud, and protecting assets through effective insurance management.  Successful candidate will be well versed in all facets of risk management to include risk assessment, investigation and response, audit, security, insurance, and regulatory controls.  The ability to implement new strategies and educate and deliver preventative methods in confidence to the internal team is essential.  Five plus years of experience in a senior risk management role within a financial institution and a four-year college degree is required.  Credit Union Profile

Partners Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union and a not-for-profit financial cooperative that offers membership to employees and cast members of The Walt Disney Company and their family members.  As of February 2008, the credit union had eight branches, nearly 100,000 members and in excess of $800 million in assets.  The credit union was formed in 1968 at the request of a group of Disneyland park cast members, and when first chartered was called the DRC Federal Credit Union. DRC was an acronym for the Disneyland Recreational Club, which was a precursor to the Disneyland Resort's current Cast Activities department.  In the 1970s, DRC Federal Credit Union changed its name to Disneyland Employees Federal Credit Union. In the 1980s at the request of CEO Michael Eisner, the credit union was asked to stop using the name "Disneyland" so the name was changed once again to Partners Federal Credit Union.  Partners enjoys outstanding strength and stability - made even stronger by a November 2007 merger with Vista Federal Credit Union.  Vista FCU, which was established in 1960 prior to Partners, also served Walt Disney Company Cast Members and employees primarily of The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California and Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
