JOB SUMMARY



 

Loan Officer to originate real estate loans, primarily on income producing properties.  Ideal candidate is an experienced real estate professional who excels at managing relationships resulting in successful closing of loans.  Must have extensive knowledge of equity based lending and short term real estate lending policies and procedures as they relate to various property types.  We are focusing currently on income producing properties

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

We are seeking a proactive, positive and energetic individual with a proven track record of closing loans. 

 

THE BEST CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE:

Have existing contacts resulting in new loans;

Manage some existing relationships with our clients to result in new loans;

Cultivate new relationships with brokers, lenders and/or borrowers resulting in new loans;

Should be familiar with income producing properties and some residential (non owner-occupied)

Properties.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing a marketing plan representing the firm in the field, identifying prospective new clients and referring new contacts and new lending scenarios to on-site underwriters.

 QUALIFICATIONS

Background in lending, brokerage, private equity or asset management.
