EIS Analyst - RUP

Our client is a US top 10 bank and are looking to expand in the area of Enterprise Information Systems.  This is with the Methods and Tools group and will offer a very high visibility position which can give candidate great exposure for future growth and opportunity within the organization.  The ideal candidate will be someone who has supported a very large enterprise with multiple lines of business.  Must have program management expertise using RUP.

 

Position is within the Corporate Program Management Office.  Duties and responsibilities for this position include: 

Ø  The development of technology related methods, processes, procedures, tools and templates to ensure the appropriate project methodology of all EIS/EDS technical projects.

Ø  Identify and gather requirements in order to formulate and derive function point size measurements for the development/enhancement of in-house applications by analyzing project documentation, client requirements, functional specifications, project charter, and technical design documentation.

Ø  This position my also be required to participate in the development/refinement of required controls of testing as required by Sarbanes-Oxley, Operational Risk Management, as well as internal quality and non-quality controls. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

5 years analytical experience, which INCLUDES the following:

Ø  Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, governance and software engineering methodologies with RUP (this is a must)

Ø  Experience executing or tailoring the Rational Unified Proces - RUP

Ø  Proficiency in Project Management tools including but not limited to Primavera and EcoSys Financial  Manager

Ø  Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of explaining concepts and/or technical information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff;

Ø  Demonstrated aptitude in understanding technical issues and solution in relation to current as well as future business environments

Ø  Demonstrated analytical and abstract skills in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and multifaceted business issues

Ø  Advanced PC skills to include Excel

Ø  Analytical skills to gather requirements and develop/implement appropriate design to meet business needs

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Ø  Microsoft office productivity suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), methodology tools Rational Method Composer or Microsoft Solutions Framework and project management tools Primavera, EcoSys or similar tools such as PlanView, Microsoft Enterprise Project Server, Clarity, ChangePoint, Oracle Project, Oracle Financials

Required Education or Certification

Ø  Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience and certification

PREFER

Ø  Project Management Professional certification (PMP)

Ø  Experience with Rational Method Composer

Ø  Experience with Primavera

Ø  Experience with EcoSys Financial Management

Ø  Experience with process design

NICE TO HAVE

Ø  Six Sigma green or black belt

Ø  Experience with Rational Tools

Ø  Experience with UML
