EQUITY DERIVATIVES CONFIRMATIONS - CONSULTANT POSITION

INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT COMPANY – MIDTOWN, NEW YORK   Day to day functions include reviewing incoming equity derivatives confirmations, compiling supporting documentation, and matching confirmations against supporting documents.  The person must be well-organized and have strong communication skills. The daily functions of the person will include:  • Review ISDA confirmations for equity derivatives products; review of interest rate derivative products on a secondary level. • Reconcile trade discrepancies found between confirmations and trading system (i.e. DTCC, in-house trading system).  • Communicate with Documentation/Operations regarding errors in internal trade capturing system.• Ensure all confirms received in a timely manner.  • Develop reports for outstanding trades for senior management.  Experience and Educational Requirements: - Excel, MS Word, (Access a plus)- 1-3 years of experience in derivatives confirmations.- Knowledge of ISDA definitions recommended.- Familiar with the entire derivatives confirmation process from start to finish is strongly recommended.- Detail-oriented, strong organization skills, and able to work in a time-sensitive, goal-oriented environment.- Strong verbal & written communication skills.- Knowledge of DTCC, Murex, and/or Calypso is a plus.
