Including yours.  * As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007.Editor, Office of the President  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Providing approval to research-related correspondence·  Verifying that Countrywide’s resolution is in compliance with company procedures and Investor and federal guidelines·  Performing final edit/review and quality check for outgoing materials·  Editing completed Specialist files for grammatical accuracy, content flow and research verification·  Facilitating Specialist Training and Development via manuals, classes and seminars to enhance writing skills·  Auditing responses from individuals who are not currently included in editing processes·  Providing feedback and training   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High school diploma or GED·  2+ years experience in Mortgage Banking or related field·  Providing technical writing and customer service·  Editing publicly shared information·At least 1 year of strong writing/editing experience in Mortgage Banking or a related field·  Strong Technical/Business Writing skills·  Excellent presentational and verbal communication skills·  Ability to use business-related software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access·  Ability to relate to all levels of employees·  Ability to be a team player·  Ability to effectively coach, train and motivate employees·  Ability encourage staff to work to their potential·  Ability to relate to and work with others who may not have the same level of expertise or technical training·  Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolutive environment while adapting to dynamic priorities·  Ability to meet time-sensitive goals deadlines·  Strong leadership skills·  Self-motivation·  Detail-orientation   The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
