Enterprise Reporting Developer / BI / Data warehouse

Position:        Enterprise Reporting Developer / Business Intelligence / Data warehouse Summary We are looking for an Enterprise Reporting developer, who will be responsible for working on current and future reporting needs, as well as assisting in the maintenance of our data warehouse, ETL process, and reporting system. This individual will provide data analysis, data extraction, data compilation, and data reporting by creating parameter driven as well as ad hoc reports. The ideal candidate is an analytical individual with experience in various business intelligence and data warehousing technologies. This person should be a self-motivated, high-energy individual with high standards and eagerness to jump in and tackle new challenges.  The candidate does not require a business background, but should be able to communicate with business users and grasp business concepts and requirements.Our current reporting environment is built on a WebFOCUS platform, and this individual will need to quickly get up to speed on WebFOCUS.Required Business Intelligence PackagesData Warehousing SQL.NET programmingEXCEL skills including pivot tables and graphs.Experience designing and building report layouts and reporting front-ends. Optional Knowledge of accounting concepts and fixed income markets a BIG PLUSWebFOCUS development experience developing reports using Style Sheets and various Report Output formats including Excel (tabs and Pivot Tables), and PDF – a strong plusCore FOCUS programming including: FOCUS databases, JOINS,  MODIFYRegression testing experience.Dashboards, data visualization, OLAPVisual BasicSybaseSerena Version Manager, Control M, Rapid SQL Education and Experience4 year college degree in Computer science2-5 year IT experience in SQL programming, data warehousing and reporting or business intelligence Personal AttributesBe able to work independently with moderate supervision; and on a team to support common goals.Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.Detail oriented, well organized and ability to multi-task.
