Equity Quantitative Strategist- Equity Trading Desk-NYC

US House based in NYC are looking to hire an equity quantitative strategist. Your role will involve developing and implementing quantitative strategies and trading signals along with the help of the quantitative research team and the development of various real –time indicators. You will also provide performance and attribution analysis of existing systematic trading strategies and help to oversee the trading of automated market making and electronic order facilitation strategies. You MUST have 1-2 years relevant work experience as a quantitative trader or a quantitative analyst/ programmer. Preference will be given to those candidates who have worked in algorithmic trading, automated market making and proprietary trading with an equity focus. You should have a PhD in a quantitative discipline and have significant experience exploiting the usual statistical techniques used within the statistical arbitrage framework. Strong statistics/data-mining or similar background is expected. Strong C/ C++ programming skills are required.
