Merchant Services provides merchants the tools to accept all major credit cards, ATM/Debit cards, personal checks and gift cards, as well as online Internet transactions, for local retail merchants as well as large National Retailers.

Members of the Merchant Activation Team are responsible for process and activation of all new Merchant accounts. 

 

Job DutiesWork with Independent Sales Representatives to compile, complete and submit contract packages.Contact Merchants via phone or email to compile documentation as needed.Provide support in application processing of all Added-Services (Check Service, Gift Cards, and Cash Advance Programs).Forge strong relationships with Added-Services vendors; maintain open and professional dialogueProvide support to all departments within the Merchant Activation Team

 

Required QualificationsHigh school degree or equivalent required, Bachelors Degree preferred Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel and WordStrong organizational skillsAbility to effectively manage time and work under aggressive deadlinesHigh degree of professionalism and appearanceHigh level verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer and phone skillsStrong communication skills and positive approach to othersAbility to work effectively in a team oriented environmentAbility to work independently or with general direction/expectations; can resolve routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to the Leadership TeamAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment
