FHA Underwriter must have DE

Do you have your DE?  Imagine the opportunity to work from home using our customized paperless software programs.  We will provide you the equipment, software and the training--You provide us your expertise and a minimum of five FHA files underwritten per day.  (If you prefer to work in our office, that is fine as well.)

The FHA/VA Underwriter will work all loan applications to maximize acceptance of profitable loans, while minimizing acceptance of unprofitable loans; review and clear conditions prior to loan closing; re-underwriting expired approval commitments or loans with a change in terms, borrower status, income, etc.

 

Experience and certification requirements:

Must be DE certified to be considered a candidate

VA LAPP a plus

Proficient in LP/DU

Full understanding of current FHA

Prefer college degree or equivalent experience

 

Preferred Attributes:

Have the ability to underwrite a minimum of five FHA loans per day

Good organizational skills and sense of urgency required

Conscientious and methodical approach to work

Analyzes information, draws reasonable conclusions, detail oriented

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
