FINANCIAL PROJECT MANAGER II

Provides Finance support to Capital Markets, Debt Products, Financial Institution groups by producing timely, accurate and transparent financial reports, providing technical accounting and reporting guidance for existing and new products and initiatives, and completing the forecast and budget processes. Ensures GAAP and internal Accounting Policy are followed and that internal and external reported financial information is accurate. Supports unique, dynamic and technically challenging product set.  Interacts with product and segment management, peer Finance groups and Operational support management on a regular basis to establish and maintain business knowledge and ensure high quality support to the Capital Markets business. Primarily responsible and accountable for all aspects of assigned accounting activities, financial analysis and internal and external reporting.  Reviews activities, analysis and reports prepared by areas of responsibility and communicates results to higher level management and service partners.  Comfortable working in and promoting a team environment.Keeps abreast of internal and external developments that could impact strategic objectives. Continually evaluates departmental processes and recommends process improvements to management. A degree in Accounting or Finance combined with CPA or CMA Certification and/or MBA or MPA graduate degrees is preferred. Working knowledge of Capital Markets products and related GAAP is preferred.
