Here, where St. Mary’s Hospital once stood, the Bank is housed in a limestone-clad tower comprised of 12 office floors above a 2-story base containing a Conference center and the Facilities operations. Our transition to this new building has created an excellent career opportunity for a mid to senior level Painter/Finish Craftsman. Job duties include inspecting, analyzing, repairing, and maintaining, painted, papered, and stained surfaces. Responsibilities also include monitoring the condition of walls, millwork, and fine furniture and refinishing to like new condition. Strong knowledge of furniture performing repairs and maintenance, with excellent attention to detail. Will receive work orders and requests and determine requirements, schedule work and perform layout of new installations, maintain inventory of materials required to complete assignments, order materials and parts as needed, complete research to remain current with technological changes in related equipment and finishes. Other duties will include, performing ad hoc maintenance and construction projects upon request. This includes assisting other craftsmen in general carpentry, systems furniture installation, general office construction, and other similar or related duties. Must have strong teamwork skills, be able to work efficiently to meet project deadlines, and have strong customer service skills. Salary range is $30,700 to $40,800, depending upon experienceEssential Skills-A minimum of three years industry experience, with specialized training in the application of finishes. -Additional requirements include good ability to read and understand manufacturers’ equipment manuals and operational instructions, ability to multitask and use time efficiently to meet project deadlines, being a team player with good oral and written communication skills, being comfortable working within high areas, ability to list at least 50 lbs., and be available to work any shift.
