Finance Manager, Indirect Automobile Finance

Finance Manager, Indirect Automobile Finance Group Birmingham, Alabama Progressive Regional Bank operating across high-growth southern tier states.  Bank well regarded and well positioned to continue enviable track record of strong growth and expanding profitability. Key role providing critical financial analysis and recommendations as well as financial reporting and accounting support to Indirect Automobile Finance Group: Develop and maintain understanding of key components driving Group profitability, including auto loan portfolio performance patterns and dealer reserve analysis. Interact and coordinate activities with counterparts in Corporate Finance and Accounting. Produce quantitative and qualitative analysis of Budget, Forecast and Actual financial results of Indirect Dealer Finance Group. Data Warehouse and General Ledger extraction, manipulation and modeling of consumer loan portfolio characteristics such as duration, prepayment patterns, risk migration, etc to provide meaningful and insightful Balance Sheet and Income Statement projections. Pre-launch modeling and post-evaluation of new market, product and pricing initiatives. Provide Strategic Planning support, M&A-related support and Capital Spending analysis. Broad range of modeling and financial analytics to inform and support critical Indirect Dealer Finance LOB decisions.  You must possess these minimum background requirements: BA/ BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; CPA, CFA or MBA preferred. Energetic and versatile financial analysis professional skilled at the creative application of sophisticated tools, techniques and methods, including analysis of consumer automobile loan portfolio duration, prepayment patterns, dealer reserve analysis, default patterns, loss-given-default, etc. Experience with database extraction, manipulation and modeling of balance sheet and income statement implications of modifying terms, conditions, credit quality cut-offs, etc. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sophisticated financial services firm. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Dealer Indirect financial management environment; exposure to banking industry desirable but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills a requirement in this dynamic, highly interactive work environment.
